I decided to do a little research on how sleep affects us. We all know we feel better when we get the sleep we need. But, how does it affect our bodies when we don’t get enough good sleep. There are, in fact, bad results from not enough good sleep. So this is the first in my series on how our bodies react to not enough good, restful sleep. It may be that your body misses out on the hormone control and tissue repair that happens in deep sleep stages.
